Description:

Our client is a highly respected independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Surrey. They are listed in the UK's Top 100 firms and manage a wide range of clients.

Due to continued growth they now seek an experienced Management Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their Head Office. 

Reporting to the Senior Management / Directors, you will enjoy a varied role with lots of direct client interaction. The main duties are as follows:

  • Preparation of clients’ management accounts including the posting of journals.
  • Record the day to day financial transactions for clients.
  • Maintaining records of purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
  • Reconciling clients’ bank accounts.
  • Preparing VAT returns and EC sales.
  • Corresponding with clients for information.

Applications are welcome from AAT, ACA and ACCA studiers as well as candidates that are "qualified by experience". 

Ideally you will already have experience of working within a Practice environment and knowledge of Sage and Xero systems is also highly advantageous. Being a car owner will be essential for this role.
